找了个工作，公司必须得办export license，因为我是中国护照。我的问题是这个
export license和J visa 2 year rule有关系吗？之前有J visa 2 year rule，现在
waive还没下来。会不会因为J visa 2 year rule给卡住不给办export license。谢谢
！

过来人能不能评价一下，去big pharma（比如genentech/norvatis）做postdoc，
跟去start-up（非朝不保夕型。比如100人左右还算稳定的）做scientist，
个中利弊如何？
空想一下，问题的关键似乎在于前者的经验到底在industry/academia两条
路上到底受多大的recognition，后者能否在工作岗位上有很大的学习空间。
BTW，这是hypothetical question，纯属好奇呵呵

It depends on the startup. If it has promising technology/patents, and big
name scientific advisory board members/founders, one should consider startup
, especially if you can get loads of stock options.

haha~ loads of stock options probably won't be possible unless one joins
a super small start-up. no pain no gain:)
