最近在联系那里的薄厚，不知道这个所的水平比Scripps和Salk差多少？千老的几率
大不大？

你得看具体的实验室吧。跟研究所整体水平有啥关系？

这个毕竟以后回国的话，过去所在研究所的名气也有些影响的。
实验室是年轻的老板，今年刚建立的研究组。。。
想找牛老板，可是没人睬我啊。。。

哦，这样啊。放心，这个研究所还是非常有名的。
就生物研究来说，整体比Salk差，但比scripps强。
里面也有非常牛的lab。

Sanford-Burnham Medical Institute is often shadowed by Salk and Scripps,
and less known in China.
In general, if one wants to take advantage of the growing opportunities
and funding in China, I think that it's better to work with a Chinese PI
who has got tenure and on an upswing in a good field. In the next 10
years, the hot money is in China. Unless you have chance to work with an
Nobel Prize caliber boss in U.S., a mediocre U.S. boss wouldn't be able to
help you much to land a good job in China.

thanks for your invaluable opinion. However I still believe that a postdoc
experience
in the top US institute is essential for the self-establishment in china,
especially
in BJ & SH.

need both sound science AND connections...
