起点上的，作者唐四方。

先是cpu风扇开始制造拖拉噪音，现在3块西数万转盘搞的raid0两块报错。不过神奇的
是居然还能用，个把文件考
不出来了。

本人非牛校Ph.D刚毕业，差不多6年做了5个projects, finish了4个,当然这里面也有其他
POSTDOC的功劳，到现在就发了一篇JBC，其他三篇一直被老板HOLD，没给送出去，其中有两个
project是想送好一点的journal，比如MolecularCell之类的,但老板觉得跟他申请GRANT不相
关，不着急发。所以我也不知道要继续呆在原来的实验室等多久。现在我能想到的选择有
1.大牛的实验室进不去，就找有潜力的AP，至少PROJECT做出来了，他不会HOLD不给发。
2.接着呆在原来的实验室等老板发PAPER，我估计这过程至少也得等两年吧，已经快6年了，再两年就8
年抗战了,而且最后也不知道会是啥结果
3.找一个轻松的美国人实验室，然后尝试转行，选择有：找朋友担保贷款去读PA，或者自己看书CFA,回
国找个证券公司，做医药行业分析（因为有朋友在证券公司说，这么可以走通）
4，直接回国找个公司，以后有机会再过来读牛校的MBA
做了这么多年research,兴趣是有些，但我不想为此搭上一辈子，到头来还是LOSER，请大家多拍砖多
给建议

Everyone here have the same problem with you. How could you expect a good
suggestion? :-(
any choice is OK except '2'.
If you want to be a PI like Sunnyday some day, try to find a big shot in the area.
If you are interested in industry, try to find a boss who is also consultant of some big companies (you can figure out this by looking at his/her papers in the 'conflict of interests' part; and whose research are highly related to applied, such as diagnosis, drug development, clinical trial.... , usually, MD or MD/Ph D boss are better. (Some people may not agree and think they are not real scientists. But for me, i think one of my low IF (~4) paper, which is higly clinical related, is more useful than my NCS paper to find a job.
Remember, never stay in the same lab for postdoc only if you are expecting a NCS paper soon (within one year) or you are quite sure your current boss will find a good job for you.

哦。。。挺惨的，听起来。我建议你尽量催你的老板把文章送出去。
你就每隔几天就装傻的问他anything I can do for this paper?
然后每次和他谈话都提起来说你的文章数目太少，申请的时候经常被人询问这个
问题（因为你会把你做过的项目列在简历上，这样别人就会自然的问你那些
项目有没有发文章）
因为如果文章数目不够的话，不论是找博士后还是找工作都很不利。
当然你不能在原实验室呆太久，最多再呆一年吧？你现在还好，只要不超过7年毕业还
是可以接受的。
