I guess you need to provide more details. For example, a NGS lab may need a
technician to handle the sample extraction or library preparation. It may
also need a bioinformatics scientist to analyze the data generated. Totally
different positions.

I am interested in the technician position, I also have basic knowledge of

/genetics, excellent bench skills in DNA/RNA handling and library
construction. The candidate should be very organized, extremely detail
orientated. She or he also needs to very efficient in communication and
great in teamwork. Previous hands-on experience in Next Generation
Sequencing of different platforms (Illumnia, Life Technologies) is strongly
preferred as well as project management experience and some knowledge in
bioinformatics.
Minimum Degree Required: B.S. or equivalent in Biology or related field.
The rank and salary of the position will be competitive based on
qualifications.

Sorry I didn't make it clear earlier. It is a bench-work tech/staff position
but knowledge in Bioinfo will be preferred. It is funded by department and university.
