从这基础学多久能拿下证书？有这证书在美国能找到啥样的工作 发展前途如何呢？

1. 实验室发展飞快，你查一下，如果积极发展成20人以上的牛lab了，那就是好现象
2. 招一个跑一个，或者招一个赶走一个
3. 名声太差，怎么打广告都没人敢去

General principle: No Chinese PI. No female Chinese PI. No Chinese assistant
professor. No female Chinese assistant professor. No single Chinese male or

现在人都很现实，确实有好的，但是不少名声也不怎么样

The reason is that if they ever become the PI, they will be the bad Chines
PI because they never know how to run a lab without been an @hole. That's
why you can tell who will be ruthless PI simply based on their lineage (
cough chris cough Wal..sh).

What a self esteem. Lol. No wonder most Chinese PIs, not only assistant
professors, but also professors, are not respected by not only their Chinese
and American students, but also their American peers. More pathetically,
they don't realize it or don't want to face it and admit it.
I was in bio field, not anymore. My current field, more respect, more money,
better lifestyle. No stress for grant, publication and BS.

All fields require hard work if not harder work than academic. I still
believe anyone claim to have better lifestyle simply by switching job is
fooling themself. You don't get something for nothing.

Actually I agree. Switching to another field requires courage, hard work and
opportunity. But honestly, compared with bio field, most fields have much
better rewarding system.
Back to the topic, I am not against Chinese PIs. But the reality is the
image of good Chinese PIs is literally contaminated by dirty
Chinese PIs. And I do not deny that there are some nice Chinese PIs, but the
truth is if you do not know the Chinese PI, it is always the best option to
stay away from his or her lab. You will never regret if you do not choose
Chinese PIs' lab.
