我老婆是F2，没有收入，没有SSN，在Chase开了一个checking account，不久之后收到
信，要确认身份，要求填写W-8BEN。这个表名字是Certificate of Foreign Status of
Beneficial Owner for United States Tax Withholding.
很不明白beneficial owner是什么意思，她没有收入，不交税，又受惠于(beneficial)
谁呢？这样的情况就照着这个表的instruction把个人情况填写了就可以了？

大部分一作,引用6,少的可怜
请问这情况NIW能上吗,
引用少能用审稿弥补吗?

还有一个, Homme Hellinga. Duke 对他调查了, 但是不公布调查结果. 现在他好象还
在Duke混. 但是实验室整个末落了. 他老婆挺牛的, 估计帮着照了一吧.

其实整个美国科研都有问题。据前几年的一篇报道，70%的科研造假，20%是水平低下，
无法重复，剩下10%是真的。

咨询了一圈,Fan law说75%几率过,建议审稿.其它的都嫌引用少.
我只听说过EB1需要审稿,NIW审稿也有帮助吗?

niw不要求审稿，不过你可以先准备，等到引用20左右就差不多了

我当时文章11篇，都是4分以上，一作6个，近20个引用，他引一半，跟几位律师咨询，
都要审稿，而以前过关的师兄说申NIW是不需要审稿的，甚至问我需要引用量吗？真是
无语。不过最后I140一个半月批了，以为都这么快，前两天遇到个朋友，说五个月还
没拿到.最初说审稿十篇EB1就够了，没过几个月说得二三十篇。
说一定要审稿绝对了点，但13年以来没有审稿过了NIW的老千们不妨来这亮亮肌肉，如
今中国来美读书做研究的人可是呼呼在涨，每年国人拿到的绿卡数量和I140批准的数量
没有多大的变化，这申NIW也是水涨船高的动态形势，个人认为稳当点好。

了22个审稿，浪费了不少，半年就可以攒够了。

别担心，我觉得可以试试。我申请的时候，发表的文章只有两篇，还有一堆摘要。引用
也不多。没有任何审稿。结果还是顺利通过。我觉得这个靠运气。另外，版上多数都是
牛人，小菜鸟如我这样的很多时候都不敢出声的。别被牛人吓到。可以试试。
