If HR agrees, can I mail the application package by myself (e.g. HR signs
everything and I bring it to a post office) or it should go physically
through HR?
I'm afraid that HR may mess up with the mailing address since USPS and Fedex
/Ups shipping addresses are different.

Assistant Professor of Biology (Tenure-Track)
Immaculata University
Immaculata University is a Catholic, coeducational institution of higher
learning, located on the Main Line between Malvern and Exton, 20 miles west
of Philadelphia. Founded in 1920 by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate
Heart of Mary, the University serves approximately 3,000 students through
more than 100 undergraduate and graduate degrees, including a selection of
accelerated and online programs.
Job Description:
The Department of Biological and Computational Sciences, in the College of
Undergraduate Studies, is soliciting applications for a full-time, tenure-
track, Assistant Professor faculty position to join our dynamic,
collaborative team. We encourage applications from individuals with a
strong and diverse background in the life sciences who value teaching (
majors and non-majors), service, and undergraduate research and have
experience in Molecular Biology, as well as an interest in Bioinformatics.
The position will be tenure-track with a university year appointment
starting in August, 2017. Successful candidates will be expected to excel in
teaching (face to face, hybrid, and online) and have a strong desire to
involve undergraduates in research projects. An interdisciplinary liberal
arts perspective and service to the department and University is expected.
Requirements:
Position Requirements:
PhD in Biology, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field with a
demonstrated broad knowledge base in one or more subjects including
Evolution and Diversity and Physiology
Ability to teach Molecular Biology, Evolution and Diversity, and possibly
Bioinformatics
Ability to establish a research program in Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics
, or a closely related field that will involve undergraduate students both
in and out of the classroom environment
Post-secondary teaching experience, preferably at the undergraduate level,
with at least one letter of reference documenting teaching excellence
Evidence of and commitment to: working with students from diverse
backgrounds, effective academic advisement, capacity to utilize a wide range
of effective, student-centered instructional strategies, and an openness to
adopting new strategies
Excellent oral and written communication skills
