Job Description
Position Summary:
The Analytics Associate / Associate Research Manager will serve as a key
resource for the Research & Analytics Department collecting and analyzing
data to support client needs. Reporting into the Executive Director,
Research, this position will act as part of a team to uncover insights in
the USA TouchPoints data set, develop case studies, evaluate implications
and support client needs. Utilizing
syndicated data sets along with custom project management, this position may
have client-facing role. Strong focus on strategic consumer targeting
using USA TouchPoints, Nielsen, MRI and other syndicated research to assist
in developing analytical approach to media and consumer research.
Responsibilities:
Support research needs regarding USA TouchPoints study, data sets, and 3rd
party processor software.
Collect, analyze and develop presentations to highlight significant
insights in cross platform and life context consumer research.
Track and provide ongoing interpretive analysis of consumer trends across
all media platforms with a strong emphasis on digital, emerging and cross-
platform media’s growing importance.
Support client service needs including agencies, networks and advertisers on
all USA TouchPoints related data including software of 3rd party
processors (IMS, Telmar, MEMRI, Point Logic, etc)
Support sales and marketing teams on case studies, press releases, marketing
efforts and other PR related projects related to client retention.
Additional duties as assigned.
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
At least 2+years’ experience in media industry.
Experience on the agency, network. supplier or advertiser side in a research
or analytical role. Experience with Nielsen, MRI and other media research
3rd party data providers highly preferred.
Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, decision-making and
interpretive skills required.
Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively and effectively as part
of a cohesive team
Knowledge of statistics and statistical software packages (SPSS) may be
helpful but not required

Capturing information such as location, social setting, media consumption,
mood, emotion and other life context activities, USA TouchPoints adds a
significant layer of sophistication and nuance to the consumer and media
research currently available within the industry.
