本人正在准备J1豁免材料，看了网上中文书面报告和Statement of Reason豁免理由的
模板，很多是现在J1博士后,想换H1B,然后有老板的support letter。但我的情况是
2012年硕士期间以J1来美国交换一年，然后第二年回去硕士答辩，两个月后来美国读博
士，现在还是博士在读。现在想申请豁免，是因为老婆申请了绿卡，140刚提交，到时
我们一起提交Adjustment of Statement是，我需要有waiver.
请问这种情况我改如何写豁免的中文书面报告和那个英文的Statement of Reason呢？
网上没有看到类似的模板。如实写可以吗？这样我没有support letter.主要是没看到
先例，拍被拒。
求建议。谢谢大家！

公司的小印，最近在自己负责的一个小项目上玩乾坤大挪移，我觉得这个技巧不错，可
以和大家分享。
小印这个小项目其实不复杂，但是他自己的技术底子不是很好，但是我觉得他采用的策
略很好：先是把engineering所有的工程师都问个遍，把A的idea拿来，说成是自己的给
B听，再把B的idea说给C听，然后所有的credit都是他的了。
好处1：这在PM里面其实是有讲法的，叫Delphi法，是群体分析策略，可以解决问题。小
印的这个小伎俩还可以让他自己拿到（claim）所有的credit.因为对其他工程师来说，
都根本不是他们的project, 是extra work.
好处2：有了visibility, 大家都知道他在做什么项目，manager一看，哎呀，看样子解
决方案有进展啊！
但也不是没有副作用：
坏处1：美国银也不是傻子。credit被抢的，心眼小的，将来都可能会踩小印一脚。还有
我这样的给他指条歪路下个陷阱的，也不是没有。。。
坏处2：idea本身不值钱，还是要能出结果，要出一些deliverable才行（至少是可以吹
嘘的）。在这一点上，这个小印似乎还没有领悟。他不是很会做PPT, LOL!
举个案例，和大家共勉一下，学习下小印的职场技巧。

给中方的就说申请绿卡，继续在美国生活和学习。给美方的就说continue to study (
work) in us.以前的模版不管用了。刚办的j1豁免，这个非常确定

Nod, way to go.
On the brighter side, all "geniuses" start that way. They don't need to come
up with a great idea, but they do need to recognize it when they are
looking at it. Like Steve, he didn't come up with most of the shit we honor
him for. The shit were already there, but after he said "I present you SHIT"
, people went crazy like "OMG, it IS SHIT!"

It is OK to ask others for their advice but it is not good to take all the
credit. At certain point, he needs to show his appreciation and give some
credit to the people who contribute ideas. If not, nobody would want to give
his any suggestion any more.
In the other hand, I think as a project owner he needs to identify which
idea would really work. Or he might be driven by all kind of ideas around
and getting nowhere. Tough he might still be able to survive by showing the
managers that the project is keep going by trying out all kinds of ideas...
