PE考试qualifying working experience的截止日期是怎么算的，是到考试前还是报名
deadline前？比方说去年9月开始工作到今年10月28号的考试日期12个月是满了，但是
到7月20日的application deadline还是不够。打电话问了一下，一位lady说是在7月20
日application deadline之前要满足所有requirements。正考虑要不要再打去看有没有
不同说法。
有经验的请指教，谢谢！

不同州很不一样，我考的时候才工作一年半，研究生算两年国内毕设还算了半年；这样
还一直算到考试那天。呵呵。
大城市规定严格，中西部地区真的很松！check with your local PE board.你就干脆报名这次不行就下次贝，早考早放下一桩心事。

我在加州，问得是加州的board。就是怕接电话的人说法不统一。

必须要有direct supervisor 的reference吗？我老板时间不到的话肯定不会给
reference的。

当然不用！只要是PE又认识你就行。不过不知道加州是不是很官僚.你要是想考就试一下，能有
direct supervisor最好，没有就用别人贝；这次不行下次考，可要是允许考的话不就
至少省了半年！

CA board has 3 phone numbers to call regarding PE application. Try to call
each number at different hour.

在美国读gradute school的, 在加州现在只要一年工作经验就可以考了.

i took it in OH. i talked to their director directly, and he approved my
application over the phone and then note down my name. hehe. i used the date
of exam as the ending time point.
again, ohio is really loose on this. lack of working experiences, you can
always count your graduate school years, intern years, even 毕设 like i did.
当然如果工作经验够就不用这些了,要是不够就可以想这些办法,赫赫.

How did you get their director to talk to you.
I made a mistake for my application. I wanna talk to them through this but a
lady told me it's ok, just wait for a letter to require additional
information. I don't want to wait on that. just try to get it done asap.

all i did was to ask the reception lady the name of the director and whether
she can transfer me. i said i have a few questions to ask. hehe. if that's
still the same reception lady, she is extremely nice!
