Please allow me to reply to you in ONE post.
First of all, appreciate wings's professional comment on
Schumann's
middle finger.
Second, actually, I almost might hum Mendelssohn's the
second movement
of vionlin concerto in E minor completely. It seems as if
someone(maybe I) is pouring out his sadness and
helplessness, when I listen to this piece.
I think Bizet had run out of his musical talent in his opera
Carmen.
If I were Bizet, I would have composed at least 5 opera or 1
opera and 4
orchestra
