this is the store procedure I found in sql trace.
I searched SQL Server online book, MSDN, and Google, can't find answer. but
did find find people were talking about it. who knows what does it do? any
furth link I can study?

You can look at the stored procedure text in the master
database... I did a google search and got the impression
it's used in ADODB for supporting dynamic parameters..
