Hi, please give some advice.
My H1B will expire next year, and my employment based EB2 140 is approved,
but I haven't submitted 485 yet, and my priority date is July 2007. At the
same time,I joined the GC application with my LD's EB3, and that 485 was
submitted July 2007, but the EB3 priority date is Feb 2005. So now I can
either let my employer to renew my H1B for 3 years since my 140 is approved,
or apply EAD myself based on my submitted 485 with my LD. I want to keep my
EB2 and if the current date is faster than my LD's EB3 base on our priority
dates, then we may submit 485 again based on my EB2.
I just wonder should I keep my own H1B, and what's the benefit? If I use EAD
, will that affect my own EB2 GC application? Or no matter whether I use H1B
or EAD, it won't affect my EB2 application at all?
Thanks
