at the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester in New York.
Winner of both the Paganini and Munich international competitions, Huang
herself studied at Eastman, gaining a master’s degree and doctorate from
the institution. She is currently a professor at the Shanghai Conservatory
of Music.
‘I am extremely thrilled to return to Eastman as a faculty member. To me,
it is the ideal place for musical and artistic development, where performing
and academic studies purposefully complement each other,’ said Huang.
