有人碰到过这个问题么？求解答！
我现在是perm, i140都批了，
不过公司中间被卖了，名字也变了，这个是在申请perm/i140中间变得，不过原先的律
师没有管，一直用了老公司的材料申的，
现在新的律师发现了这个问题，说要重申
我的问题是
1。被批的perm, i140还有效么？或者说那个批准还有效么？这个决定了我的priority
date是不是还在，
2. 能不能只要document the successor in interest requirements to the USCIS ，
而不重新走perm,140这个过程？
搜了一遍，没有找到uscis的官方文件，真是急死人，下个礼拜要和律师谈了，想先研
究一下，不要被他们随便牵着走

我认为只要你在I-140提交的时候旧公司还没有被收购就没事。如果那是旧公司已经不
存在了的话，可能就有问题了。

公司什么时候买的？如果你申请140的时候，公司还没被买，就没事。否则你140应该用
新公司信息。

估计在申的时候已经变了，这下140批了的也无效了？这个后果太严重了

我向律师问过同样的问题,以下是我们律师的回答：
if something changes with YOUR_COMPANY while the case is pending there is a
reasonable time in which to notify USCIS of any changes. Typically if a
company is acquired while an I-140 is pending we wait until the I-140 is
approved and then file an amendment to notify USCIS of the change. If let’
s say the company was acquired and your job was eliminated, the new company
simply wouldn’t file the amendment application. This doesn’t mean that
the original I-140 approval is not a valid approval for maintaining your
priority date.
The only scenario I would have a concern about is if there were a request
for evidence on your case and a new company decides not to respond b/c you
are no longer employed, that results in a denial and then the loss of the
priority date. If a company goes bankrupt USCIS typically does not know
this, and would not likely touch/question the priority date.
