今年4月file H1b 10月H1b生效请问现在可以开始办eb2吗
估计打好广告正式file PERM肯定是4月之后的事情了到时候如果顺利的话H1B应该
approve了
请问需要等到10月份H1B生效后再开始办么？不知道现在开始file会不会有什么不好影响

OPT期间可以办EB2, if your company agrees.

How do you know if you can get H1B for sure? Last year, a lot of people didn
't get it. I don't think your company will invest before they know for sure
you will be able to stay with them.

两码事，
一个问你公司政策允许不允许OPT期间或者一进公司就给办绿卡
一个问你你怎么知道今年不抽签？万一你抽不中，就一直拿着F签证打算不回国？

GC is future job. As long as the company is willing to sponsor you, it is OK
even without H1B.

没有H1B 签证，你打算怎么合法留下来工作？

not sure if matters: after filing immigration request, you may not be able
to use F1 status due to the intend to immigration - just be careful and
check with your lawyers for sure

公司现在给办的已经开始跟律师联系了如果抽不中H1B的话就不指望这个eb2啦

是不是file PERM的时候才算fill immigration request？估计打广告什么要好几个月
等file PERM的时候已经知道H1B是不是 approve了
