大家好：要开始绿卡申请， 现在的雇主愿意支持EB2申请，公司的案件都是交给
Fragomen事务所代理的。Fragoment 给了一个要准备材料的列表，其中提到要以前所有
雇主的Employment letter, 给了一个模版， 要命的是这个Employment letter 不仅仅
要证明employment 这个事实, 还要证明“Progressive experience" "Progressive
experience" is defined as employment experience that reveals progress, move
forward, and advance ". 在这份工作之前，还有过两份工作（postdoc 和software
engineer), 各干了一年， 要证明employment 这个事实比较容易，但要证明"
progressive" 就比较困难了， 模版上还有这么一句话“He/She was given more
complex duties ...." , 这个估计前雇主不会签.
求教版上的过来人： 大家申请的时候都准备过这么一份材料么？ 如果前雇主不肯提供

如果你的PERM里面要求的experience是你在现在公司的现在职位之前不具备的，那需要
以前的雇主证明，必须要证明哪些技能是在以前的工作使用的，和使用期限。
如果是不相干的技能，比如postdoc是别的专业或者职位，跟你现在的工作技能无关，
就不需要。
一般如果前雇主（HR）比较mean，可以找关系比较好的前manager、director甚至前同
事帮你写证明，哪怕他们现在已经离开，就在他们现在公司letter head的信件上，注
明他们跟你当时是同事（或者领导），要写明起止时间（你的工作时间），然后列出
skills和duties。
我办PERM的时候，原公司已经被merge了，找的当时的manager给我写的，顺利通过，2
个月PERM就批了。

对了， 如果PERM里面没有prior experience的要求，甚至可以不要以前的letter

If you have the case numbers you can register for status change emails from
their website.

你要到网上去注册,用你的RECEIPT NUMBER, 才能收到EMAIL.
