用实验室的钱买了Volume License的 vista business. 安装也成功了，但是激活的时
候发现要Multiple Activation Key (MAK). 但是我们institute好像没有这个ＭＡＫ。
是不是我要向销售商要啊？还是能向微软要？难道说我们institute没有加入微软这个
volume license program我就不能激活了吗。。。（非法手段不敢用啊）
我当时本来想买完全零售的vista business的，但是那个销售代表向我推荐了这个(他
知道我的单位），我以为他卖给我就意味着我们的institute可以用这个volume
liscense.....
恳请了解的朋友能提供建议！谢谢！

I tried to reinstall XP to my PC from bootable CD drive. it always show
the crashed error message in blue screen
A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent
damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart
your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is
identified in the Stop message, disable the driver or check with the

我所在公司目前用EXCEL管理存货，如果自学access，能编出一个数据库的程序实现存
货管理的功能吗？
公司的原材料种类不多，均以千克为单位计量，但每袋重量不一样，所以每袋的serial
number及重量都要输入excel表单，领料的时候要记录从哪一袋领的，领了多少，生产
用于哪种产品的哪个批号中。平日归集数据花较多时间。access可以实现存货管理功能
吗？自动生成一些报告，比如本月领料总结，月末存货报告等。或者有什么简单易学的
数据库编程软件可以自学的（非计算机专业）？

给公司里做，强电弱电性质差不多吧
另外不知道电厂电站是国有的还是私有的

it happens when your XP is not SP2 and up.
you need to find a CD writer to streamline SP2 into the XP CD you have and
burn another bootable CD. I would suggest you streamline SP3 instead.

电厂应该是私有的吧。
电站算utility，也可能国有的，也可能是私有的。

见过给办的，不然招你干嘛。
一般不难。
一般不多。
N年前的经验，办绿卡容易，知道一个写电厂控制软件的硕士生（没啥论文）都轻松搞
定NIW的绿卡。这电厂工作不用想，听着就和National Security和National Interest
相关。

我学习pavement还没有说话呢
交通在平时很好的

According to what I known, a company cannot let you to do the volunteer
work if it makes money through your work and your pending volunteer work is
for commercial purpose. If I am wrong, I may know some volunteer
opportunity without pay. Let us discuss it.

一点在米国及著名国际诈骗集团的工作经验，只能用OPT作volunteer，因为OPT生效三
个月后，如果连volunteer都没有，好像连OPT都要失效。总算跟国内大学毕业生毕业后
先无薪实

Yalinger, I am curious about the situation of Transportation Engineering. It
seems different from other branches of Civil. It is benefited more by good
economy, while suffers more from bad economy. Therefore, if one want to stick to it, the most important thing is to find a ambitious advisor and select a promising research direction. In this situation, one can try on academia and thus has higher survival chance.

师兄，谢谢你这么认真的回复，要说我还是对交通不够了解，只是周围几个学习交通的
同学都找到工作了，也就在最近一段时间的事情（半年多），而我们道路方向还是这样
，就是经济好的时候大家也都往岩土方向靠，现在的经济形势当然就更不会有工作了。
我总体感觉，交通和工业界接触更多一些，而道路方向就靠DOT, FHWA等资助，工业界
没有任何用处。就和生物一样，科研一片火热，出去工作就什么机会都没有了。
