Development of Core Risk Technology software components, used in the
management of Front-office, middle-office, and Firm-wide risk management
applications. Will work as part of a team of highly skilled developers
designing, coding and testing components and bootstrapping the building of
applications.
Will interact closely with Quantative Analysts, Front Office, Middle Office
and other technology teams throughout the development.
The application will leverage a new strategic front-to-back cross-asset
pricing, position and risk management sales and trading platform being
rolled out across Global Markets. This new platform features a high-
performance, globally synchronized object database and a flexible scripting
environment based on Python.
Required Skills:
Batchelor's degree in a numerate discipline. 3-7 years work experience in
software development. Background in, C++, Java. Must have good problem
solving skills.
PYTHON is big plus but optional
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of financial derivatives and risk management, Some experience in
dynamic scripting or functional programming languages (e.g. Ruby, Perl,
Haskell, Erlang etc).
