本来好好的,EB2C和EB2I都前进一小步。现在EB2I可是要前进一大步。五月前进和八月
前进大不一样。如果八月前进,有几千EB3I upgrading在九月前拿不到绿卡。在五月前
进越多,今年EB2C拿得越少。
这一周变化真大呀!!这下EB3I upgrading蝗灾来了!!!

曾经跟好朋友旅行,快结束时,她总结性的对我说,我对你很失望。
我大惊,问,为何。
她说,以前以为你是一个很优雅的女人,结果发现你不仅跟优雅不沾边,而且简直是实
在不讲究。比如,晚上可以不洗脸就睡觉(因为我一般不化妆)……
但也许怕我伤心,她又补充道,但是确实是一个好人,每次赶火车,你一手一个我们的
箱子,拎起来就跑,箱子那么重……
(因为反正不旅行时,我去健身房也是要举铁的)
但确实,跟我不熟悉的人,常常会用优雅形容我。大概是因为我爱穿旗袍的缘故。
比如,可能做饭会略讲究,有一次,有一个意大利的艺术系教授来吃饭,买了五花肉,
炖了东坡肉,讲了苏东坡的历史和谈了诗,固然,诗是不可译的。但有一些普世的画面
般的意境在。
点上烛台,温了酒,端饭菜的托盘上,摘了一朵自己种的兰花摆着,这个是跟托斯卡纳
的老妈妈老奶奶们学到的。
他们便觉得吃的很优雅。
去摄影节,总被人当成模特拍来拍去,然而,我实在不上相,让人失望。
我得了奖参了展,他们就会私下说,她跟着谁上位的呀。
当着面就会说,不错嘛,看来你真跟这位大师学到了不少。(一般是我身边站的人)
我心里怒道,什么!他跟我学还差不多,为了优雅,我低下头,柔顺的说,真感谢您的
夸奖。
但实际上,我一共只有两只口红,每只不超过5欧。快用完了,还用赠送的小刷子一直
在用。
最贵的东西就是,Diro真我的香水吧。原因是,我有一个职业是奢侈品推广的病人。他
有一次在梦中找不到我,然后在天空看见一片金色,原来是Diro真我。他就觉得安全放
心起来。医生你是Diro真我的香水,他对我说,找不到你时,我闻闻自己那一款,就安
心起来。
于是我也买了一瓶。感谢他对我的鼓励。
我在佛罗伦萨时,跟一位86岁的老夫人在一起住过。她最让我觉得有趣且敬佩的,不是
她两个训练有素的男仆、忠心耿耿40年的秘鲁小女佣;也不用羡慕她房子里堆满了古希
腊到未来主义时期的艺术文物,甚至都不是她惊人的学术地位。
而是,我经常在外界耳闻到她的强势作风,她那传闻中极难以取悦的个性。然而,跟她
相处时,是一种无法想象描述的画风。
有一天是地中海气候特色的冬季倾盆大暴雨,又湿又冷。她要去主持一个学术会议,不
知道为什么,她偏要一个她的做摄影的朋友开车送她。
她穿的确实很优雅,一年四季都高跟鞋大红唇黑丝袜…这个就不多说了。
走到车门前,她就把手捂在胸口,轻轻惊叹道,多么漂亮的汽车啊!
什么样的语气呢,大概就像刚刚进城的农家卖花姑娘,第一次看到高级汽车那般。
等别人给她开车门,上了车。车里广播电台的古典音乐频道放着贝多芬。她把手轻轻搭
在她朋友(男性79岁)的手腕上,说,多美的音乐啊,我还是第一次知道车里能有这么
美的音乐,我已经预见到我今天晚上会有的美梦了……
雨急风大路段堵,果然迷路了。绕了好几个圈子,司机大发脾气。她温柔的点点头,说
,又下雨,又堵车,你生气的很有道理,确实,你很有理由生气。
……
总之,那种娇柔妩媚,让人几乎忘记了她是位“迷人的老夫人”,只觉得她是位“迷人
的夫人”。
但这种优雅,我觉得完全是需要语境的吧。
我有个好朋友,是个聪明逗逼的中国男同学,辞了国内CEO的工作,在老手艺人店学做
手工鞋。我们平时讲话都是“你在月台上站着别动,我去给爱橘子”这样的。
某天中午,他介绍了一个小店里卖的牛角面包格外好吃。我突然脑子一抽,对安娜夫人
有样学样的对他说,亲爱的朋友,你居然能找到这么有趣的地方,这么好吃。你真是太
神奇了。如果能早点认识你就更好了。
他惊恐的对我说,你怎么了?!你被什么附身了吗?我觉得好害怕…
我还有一个朋友,意大利人。63岁。因为他在大学教电影。我们经常约着一起去电影院
看电影,做做分析讨论之类的。
他去乡下了一周,终于回城。我们约着一起看一部伍迪艾伦,见到他,我真诚的对他说
,亲爱的朋友,这么久没见,你不在的日子里,我觉得这座城几乎像空无一人一般。

心悦目。

我在麻省一家公司做了一年的公司会计,现在是 staff, 但一直想转做审计,已经考过
了CPA。因为打算搬家到Houston, 所以想找Houston的审计公司。但现在还没有绿卡,
找四大的工作不好找,不知道大家可不可以给我推荐一些别的local 审计公司,或者是网站可以
找到相关公司招聘信息的。
能提供信息的朋友有包子发!!

本人非化学专业,问个简单问题:亚胺一般是指氨基和醛/酮基之间发生醛氨缩合形成的产物
如果发现一个化合物有一个降解产物是形成亚胺,请问可以用什么条件
来防止或者减少亚胺的形成呢?(氨基来自化合物本身)

1.你那根水平线要是真的成立并且有效的话,现在是头部,下面岂不是暴跌?
2.要是你水平线配合最近的那根上涨的支撑线,只能说明现在是三角形末端,但是无法判明未
来是上涨还是下跌。也不能说暂时没有啥担心的。一旦跌,就是选择了下行作为方向。

我不认为EB2I前进几个月会对EB3I 转EB2I的数目有啥影响
EB3I 2006年5,6,7,8 四个月人一共3000而已
而EB3I 2006年5月以前一共有好几万人
稍微看看数据就知道这种影响是微小的,5%人转EB2也就150人而已。
而且,以往来看,5月不SO,6,7月也肯定要SO了
早一个月晚一个月对EB3I这种蝗虫来说今年最后总名额结果是差不多的。
换句话说,我们老中现在去闹,得到的好处也是有限的。完全是从公平的角度出发去闹。

而EB3I 2006年5月以前一共有好几万人

1. Go to a recruiter and tell them you have strong dignity and
enusthiasam to work for auditing field related with accounting. Because the
recruiters always know some of the potential hiring position before publicly
posted. I got one before, but, I failed.
2. Don’t waste time on small or mid-size CPA firm to look for the
auditing jobs, because they don’t have it even they posted they have. They
just want to hire the person on the busy tax season for doing the taxation.(
I wasted too much time to call them, nothing works.)
3. If you are a young man, go to big four that you will have a big chance
there. Even the internship.
4. Communicate with some big companies around your location to get the
chance to chat with their auditing department director to see they have some
further opening. If they like to communication with you, it seems there
will be a chance. (I am communicating with one, but, I don’t know the
result yet)
5. Don’t put any expectation on those companies that publicly posted to
hire the senior positions.

还我们他们的,明年一裁员全都滚蛋

这么算,EB2I这一财年年PD就没动,现在假设他们已经拿了2500人
2006年5月以前EB3I一共大约50000人
就假设所有拿绿卡的EB2I都是EB3I转EB2I的
这个百分比也就5%
然后如果下个月前进到2006年8月底9月初,EB3I能转EB2I的人也就多出来3000个
按5%算,才150,和12000比起来屁都不是(不到2%),更本不用瞎操心这个。

只要天气能预测,经济能预测,那股市自然能预测。
至于预测正确率是不是超过50%,那根本不是重点。如果正确率》60%或者《40%,完全
可以用来指导交易。
股市上赢钱和预测关系也大也不大,但是就跟赌场上的职业赌徒和观光客赌博一样,肯
定是有区别的。

可以用来指导交易。

定是有区别的。

搭车问一下,像审计这行,与客户,团队交流很多,应该对语言要求相对要高一些。看

了CPA。因为打算搬家到Houston, 所以想找Houston的审计公司。但现在还没有绿卡,
找四大的工作不好找,不知道大家可不可以给我推荐一些别的local 审计公司,或者是网站可以
找到相关公司招聘信息的。

和天气预测最大的不同,俺觉得天气是客体,好歹有一定的规律,除了偶然性还有必然
性,比如有云就可能下雨,而且可以检测那么多的信息指标,,,卫星云图啥的。。。。
A股是一个人市吧,消息也很多是没来由的吧?
不像雨云,总归有个来头吧?
所以俺觉得不能说天气能预测(现在也不能说测得有多准),股市就一定能预测。
这个逻辑上不太通。。。。

很多这个支撑那个点的,有时候真蒙对了,估计也就是信这个的人多了,心理和集体效
应,但这个不靠铺,下次可能人心就变了。。
不过有一点可能是,如果股市上所有的人都信这个点那个线还有啥棒的,那估计还真能
多蒙对几次,但是要靠这个就说一定有50%以上的准确率, 我看有点玄。。。而且马上
就会有聪明人来做这个局。。。
一句话,要说A股这个市一定有个啥能保证使蒙的准确率高的招儿,俺觉得逻辑上根扯
淡差不多。。。

要加 new dependents,2006年5月前面的EB3I也要加
最后结果算起来%应该是不变的,也不过是 2500/50000变成 2500/100000
然后3000变6000, 但是结果没啥区别。
其实多出来12000个,O傻要是黑我们
就折腾到2006年8月,老中也是2006年8月,这样EB2I 吃SO
EB2C吃自己的
我们现在也就是要求前进到2006年9月底或者10月初,这个区别其实就是1-2个月的EB3I
这么算的话,简直就是没影响。所以,现在去闹,更本没有啥downside risk at all。
现在就已经是worst case了。

More than 10K EB3I whose PDs are older than May 8 2006 have file I485 in
last 3 year. they used more than 23K visa number.
it is why Dos said " However, a rapid advance could spur a surge in

Avago也和NXP一起竞争买freescale的,嫌贵,就放弃了。
这BRCM比freescale贵三倍,就不嫌贵了? 掏出和自己Avago全部身家差不多的钱“买
”了。真希望董事会议室里有只间谍苍蝇。

不过有种情况没考虑到的是,现在不知道EB3I转EB2I有多少
毕竟 EB3I 2006年5月以前名额有5万人
万一真的有10%-20%人都转EB2,那12000就是打水漂了,全要给他们吃掉了。
但是即便如此,这个和我们现在去闹不闹一点影响都没有。闹也是他们吃,不闹也是。
而这个EB2I的PD前进3,4个月什么的对EB3I能多赚EB2I的人数影响也是极其微小的,在
12000个SO的情况下更本不需要考虑。
毕竟 EB3I 2006年5月以前名额有5万人

前还没发现收盘和上一个交易日收盘完全一样的情况吧?精确到小数点1,2位就避免。)

AVGO有全职员工八千多人,BRCM全职员工不过一万出头。
BRCM的revenue大约是AVGO两倍。吃亏在利润不高。
另外, BRCM R&D占~25%, AVGO R&D只占~15%.
刚发现AVGO居然没有设置CTO职位。
现在的市场就是passive卖的贵,AVGO沾了这个光。
QCOM人家每年光收专利费就占总revenue的30%,别人只能眼红,真是不能比。

You should be able to articulate your thoughts well and converse with people

overlapping functions exist in AVGO.
The thing about cutting R&D from 23% down to 16% is very dramatic. I am not

$20M in 2014 after failing to deliver on a multi-year, multi-billion dollar
program. No accountability with previous failed acquisitions; the board is

Wonderful co-workers. Some of the smartest people in the world work here!
Teams vary, but the majority of them from my experience are very friendly
and working together to innovate.
Benefits are pretty good. They try to keep them on-par with comparable
companies. 401k match is pretty low, but medical is good.
Work/life balance is nice. I am able to work from home when needed provided

Cons
Cost-cutting measures end up costing more than they cut (in terms of man-
hours and employee morale). Cares more about stock price than anything. New
head of HR has been taking real steps to turn this attitude around and try
to engage employees and work towards solutions.

Hold on to Broadcom's original stance of employees making the company (not
shareholders). It's fine to want to increase shareholder value, but doing it

Corporate culture is not welcoming. Very competitive. Have to prove yourself
in order to be accepted.
Advice to Management
Be more welcome to ideas and listening to input of those of lower positions.
Less favoritism towards employees you have a relationship with.

Wonderful co-workers. Some of the smartest people in the world work here!
Teams vary, but the majority of them from my experience are very friendly
and working together to innovate.
Benefits are pretty good. They try to keep them on-par with comparable
companies. 401k match is pretty low, but medical is good.
Work/life balance is nice. I am able to work from home when needed provided

Cons
Cost-cutting measures end up costing more than they cut (in terms of man-
hours and employee morale). Cares more about stock price than anything. New
head of HR has been taking real steps to turn this attitude around and try
to engage employees and work towards solutions.
With the recent buyout by Avago, and looking at their reviews here, I see
her efforts may be wasted. I hope that is not the… Show More
Advice to Management
Hold on to Broadcom's original stance of employees making the company (not
shareholders). It's fine to want to increase shareholder value, but doing it
short term and cutting the company off at the ankles to do it will not help
in the long-run

Great overall benefit, good leadership, lean environment.
Cons
Management agreed to be acquired by a another company that has much lower
approval rating in Glassdoor. The future is great for the stock price, but
not for the employees, it seems.
Advice to Management
Employees is company's #1 asset? Really? Apparently that's not 100% true.

Good place to work. Work time is flexible. Lots of opportunity/jobs to do if
willing. good ESPP, health plan, but 401k match is not.
Cons
Benefits gradually reducing over the year. Stock based compensation is
decreasing while base salary is not matching. Going to be acquired by AVGO
which is pretty bad in review.
Advice to Management
rumors everywhere after the M&A news to be acquired by AVGO. Try to keep
broadcom independent.

Experienced, helpful and friendly colleagues to work with
Flexible vacation (some people in busy teams view this as cons)
Good benefits including 2-year-lock ESPP, good health plan, etc. (401k match
not so good)
Cons
Will be acquired by Avago, which has a much lower rating on glassdoor;
Also, after the acquisition, it is likely that the good benefits mentioned
above will all be gone;
So we should keep an eye on how the acquisition would proceed.
Advice to Management
Try to retain some of the excellent Broadcom culture after becoming an Avago
company; that would be critical to keep & motivate your employees after the
acquisition

Has a very good health insurance and retirement plan. The work environment
is very nice the management pays a lot of attention to improve company's
culture.
Cons
Some groups are understaffed relative to their workload. This generally
impacts the quality in long run. Also, there is not much focus on improving
the tools which increase the performance of the employees.
Advice to Management
Pay more attention to exploiting the latest technology that can help to
improve code development and testing quality and balance it with the cost
cutting measures, which are understandable as well

about a year ago now. I've been told that I have absolutely no opportunity
to move up in the company and that I will not get a salary raise for the
next 3-5 years. This is because I make significantly more money than other
entry level engineers in Avago, so they need to "even me out".

没有错,Avago的BAW确实是从Skyworks买的,张浩那时候也在Skyworks工作,我和他是
同事。BAW是一个单独的组(silicon only),在Woburn占着唯一的一个6英寸Fab,一
年的费用我记得是2百万左右。当时产品收率不高,主要是没有做Trim,产品本身很简
单,做起来也不难。Skyworks是一个注重现金流的公司,所以一个看着亏损的组就砍了
。那时候产品已经出来了,客户也有了,短见呀。
