i am in my second year now and wondering if i should do some theory research
or empirical ones. the points are:
1) almost no one in our school is doing some good empirical study now, they
are all doing theory things
2) i was suggested by my professors in my undergraduate that doing theory
needs a very sound math training, and it takes a very long time to pick up
this math sense, therefore, doing some empirical things might be easier for me
3) if i choose empirical research, what should I start t
