中国为什么不能收了美元又转手倒成欧元？ 如果中国把外储里的美元资产倒成欧元资产

I can't think of any compelling reason that we can't do this. But the US
treasury securitis are still the the first-choice investment for world-wide
governments. And no one is certain that dollar will keep falling.
China is not the biggest investor in US treasury securities. Japan is, holding
38.5%. China is the second, 9.4%, and UK 7.3%.

You are the optimistic type now days as oppose to a much bigger doomsday
believers. With today's twin deficits, US would have crashed 100 times if it
were one of those emerging economies.
People are getting nervous, now the pressure is on dollar, but it will just be
matter of time before pressure spreards to stock market. Small guys like
India are getting out of dollar asset and swap to Euro, but big guys can't do
it (this is the part I don't understand... I'll communicate with the other
side

But US is not Argintina or Mexico. It has not only the biggest economy, but
also the most powerful political/military matchine. It's not hard to
understand that countries like Japan and China have to offer good excuses to
withdraw large chunk of dollar assets.
Furthermore, no one wants US to fail except various types of extremists. There
is no worse thing than a failing US to the world economy.
