学者的思想，常常“百姓日用而不知”－－普通大众意识不到那些分不清麦苗和韭菜的学
者会对他们的行为会有什么影响，但是他们往往是某些当代或古代学者的奴隶，忠实地实
践着他的思想，不去反省它是对是错。这一点，英国经济学家凯恩斯曾经感叹，“The
ideas of economists and political philosophers, both when they are right and
when they are wrong, are more powerful than is commonly understood. Indeed,
the world is ruled by little else. Practical men, who believe themselves to
be quite exempt from any intellectual influences, are usually the slave of
some defunct economist.”
