向想有经验的同学请教一下排名的问题。我发现好像经济学里有两种排名，一是按字母
顺利，一是按贡献大小，如此且不是对名字字母比较靠前的人不太公平，名字靠前的人
排在前面时，别人觉得是按照字母顺序，而一考后就知道是按贡献排名了。比如我有
coauthor，他名字在我后面，我第一作者的文章我排在前面，但别人都以为是按姓氏排
，两个人equal contribution, 其实我的contribution 80％，他第一作者的文章，他
排在前面，人家就知道我是第二作者，contribution 小于50％。大家说说如何处理这
个问题。是在footnote 里注明：不是按姓氏排名。似乎不太好。
这个问题可能有点小家字气，但是我们学校评tenure时，还是很在乎第几作者的。

To my knowledge, it does not matter much for econ departments whether you
are the first author or not. In most cases, authors are listed according to
their last name. Some departments may treat single-authored and multi-
authored papers differently. But never heard that anyone gives more credit
to the first author in econ except that the authors are not listed
alphabetically.
It is difficult to judge who makes more contributions to the paper. Even if
you did most "dirty" jobs, it does not necess

agree, in finance literature very much the same
Black Scholes, C.I.R., Heath-Jarrow-Morton, B D T, Hull-White, all these
famous, award winning works in asset pricing or fixed incomes, without
exceptions, have their author list in the alphabetical order. It is
important that your work turns out to be top-notch, usually no big deal
how many co-autors there are.
I would not mind if I am the M in HJM ^_^
