好像往年这个时候已经吃了很多了
今年家里种了无花果树，到现在才有四五个熟的，其他的都在树上绿油油的挂着呢
超市里好像也没怎么见到卖的
今年无花果成熟的晚？还是已经过季了，我错过了？

是bug，还是有意的？我觉得插入eps图形应该是最简单的，为什么这么多年了，没把这
个功能加进去？

I searched out a few academic papers for my superviser, and she asked if I
did a cross-search of any of the acadmic papers on the Social Science
Citation Index. (too shy to ask her) I am wondering: general what is the
purpose of doing that. Do you want to see how many times one paper is
referenced in other articles,or the author's credential? Or you want to find
similar papers by tracking the bibliography?

all what you have to do is to
1) include the epstopdf package after the graphicx package, and
2) run `pdflatex' with the option --shell-escape.
i don't know of any modern people using the `pdftex' command nowadays.

看文章引用次数啊。也可以google scholar
好像大部分文章引用都为0。引用少的，即使top journal，说明没人跟着做，或者观点
没人认同，那你跟着做就要谨慎了。

好像大部分文章引用都为0。引用少的，即使top journal，说明没人跟着做，或者观点

The reason is that pdfTeX was written by Han The Thanh for his PhD thesis,
and for technical and commercial reasons he did not include implementation
of a PS interpreter within pdfTeX.

My employer paid for me to attend TUG in Vancouver and in Oxford.
I don't work there any more.
TUG does provide some financial assistance to students, especially
if you are presenting a paper.
