Senior Datawarehouse Developer
Work for an international management consulting firm in the Banking and
Capital Markets group and be a senior database developer/advisor to high
level management.
The Senior Data Warehouse Developer provides technical support and direction
in the development and support of the Data Warehouse, Data Mart, and
Business Intelligence solutions.
Duties and Responsiblities
*Participates in all phases of the development life-cycle with minimal
direction.
*Interfaces with analysts to review requirements and develop design
specification documents.
*Rapidly learns business processes and able to effectively offer suggestions
to improve the design or performance of the implementation.

一般只能等ＲＦＥ， 不过你把材料准备好。但是你也可以自己寄过去看看，大不了就

I had the similar experience. In the middle of Sept, I submitted my resumes
to 5 different positions (Entry level) offered by one top company, but the
second day, I received 5 rejection letters to notify me that I was not the
finalist. I was not that upset, but a little curious about their screening
procedure. Then I stopped the way, and started to look for what I should do
to avoid that.
A few possible reasons:
1. They have finalist already;
2. They just posted the job announcement there, in f
to 5 different positions (Entry level) offered by one top company, but the
second day, I received 5 rejection letters to notify me that I was not the
finalist. I was not that upset, but a little curious about their screening
procedure. Then I stopped the way, and started to look for what I should do
to avoid that.
A few possible reasons:

投resume如果效果不好, 试别的招啊.
我有一个客户, 干脆去一家家地方毛遂自荐了.
当然这要有技巧, 否则很容易被人回绝的.
75%~80%的position在变成广告之前就fill了.
你如果不认识啥同行, 赶快去认识一些人, 再把自己好好推销一下呀.
光改resume就象只有漂亮衣服, 却没有好的Model. 那么最后的时装发布会也不太可能
成功. 如果忽视了找工作的技巧和面试的准备, 还有提高外语和个人的综合素质(包括
专业水平和个人的修养), 那么就算拿到面试也很难通过. 现在雇主至少要准备找上半
打人telephone interview, on-site面试至少有3个吧(当然也是看position而定), 竞
争很激烈, 如果没有较强的综合实力, 还要人家办H1B, 那真是太难了.

我不是这样看的. 你必须学会推销自己, 否则和人抢那20%, 实在太累了. 这个世界,
适者生存啊.
难道你们学校的Career Center不管你们, 也不教networking skill吗?
当初我在graduate school 中学Career Counseling的时候, 主持过Job Club(那是一种
职业咨询的形式, 就有些象小班上课一样), 从穿衣打扮开始, 到写email套词, 还有打
电话毛遂自荐, networking的花样多了. 我每周和Job Club member 见一次面, 开始来
参加咨询的有20个人后来大多数人都陆续拿了offer上班去了, 三个月过后, 只剩下3
个人了.
我到行业协会开会时, 和几个Career Counselor一起讨论的结果是, 还是networking的
办法找工作最有效.
我碰到的那些待业好几个月的Ph.D 或Master大多数是这样被推销掉的. 哭有啥用, 赶
快想办法啊.

当初我在graduate school 中学Career Counseling的时候, 主持过Job Club(那是一种
职业咨询的形式, 就有些象小班上课一样), 从穿衣打扮开始, 到写email套词, 还有打
电话毛遂自荐, networking的花样多了. 我每周和Job Club member 见一次面, 开始来
参加咨询的有20个人后来大多数人都陆续拿了offer上班去了, 三个月过后, 只剩下3
个人了.
我到行业协会开会时, 和几个Career Counselor一起讨论的结果是, 还是networking的
办法找工作最有效.
我碰到的那些待业好几个月的Ph.D 或Master大多数是这样被推销掉的. 哭有啥用, 赶
快想办法啊.
