向大家请教一个问题，我现在是刚刚研一的化学PhD,但是对化学研究一点感觉都没有，
很迷茫，想早点转。想往建筑系的urban & environmental planning 转，但是感觉跨
度太大。所以想先从化学转到enviromental science读一个master，然后再向
environmental planning申请。
各位帮我看看是否靠谱？还有就是如果进入environmental science后，哪个方向的研

oh, i m poor in English
i think perhaps this a native speaking which i don't konw.
so, i googled and found out that there are two phrases "make a scene" and "
make the scene".
and "make the scene" means "put in an appearance"
there is no the word "sence".

i mean after the verb "found" there is a preterite clause, in that clause
the verb "be" should use its past tense form.
but the two phrases "make a scene " and "make the scene" are always
existing which does not depend on how the condition is and what the clause's
tense is.
if I replace "there are" by "there were",is the sentence correct?
