Anyone tried here?
I don't want to invest 500$ for a mac mini...
Googled a bit, found intel WiFi is difficult to get work and screen res. is
another headache...
appreciate any insights...

不用浪费时间了，显卡Intel GMA 4500MHD Graphics 不支持qe/ci，无解。
折腾Core 2 duo 的本本，还不如花个几十块钱买台旧的台式机，容易一些。

wifi is easy to fix, just buy a nano usb wifi adapter.
That worked for me in linux.

主要是显卡。google一下，如果没驱动就别搞了。就算启动了，看着也难受。

wifi is easy to fix, just buy a nano usb wifi adapter.
That worked for me in linux.

主要是显卡。google一下，如果没驱动就别搞了。就算启动了，看着也难受。

- ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series
- Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family

Buy a broadcomm wifi of halfsize PCIe is also 10 bucks.

双显卡不支持。如果你的bois支持显卡切换，就关掉那个不用的。不然就没戏。

还想继续浪费时间的话就勇敢地往前走吧：-）
The ATI HD 2XXX and 3XXX graphics cards which share many architectural
similitudes won't work properly on Mac OS X 10.6 and up due to apple
replacing hardware detection routines by fixed value tables. These cards
might work properly in Mac OS X 10.5.x with hardware acceleration (GL, QE,
CI, and Video) but considering the Mac App Store requires applications to be
compiled for Mac OS X 10.6.x as a minimum with no backwards compatibility
you will only be able to run outdated versions of most of applications.
买个便宜的台式机，换块OSX支持的显卡或着买台三代intel mobile core i-3 以上芯
片的笔记本（有HD4000内置显卡的）会更容易些。

能不能推荐一款Thinkpad装MacOS 没问题的？或者说，搞一台装Windows 7没问题的

用mac装windows7是比较方便的选择，缺点是要多花不少钱。比较好的方法是在mac上装
parallel desktop,然后在parallel desktop里面装windows7.这样机器的配置至少要
8GB内存，最好有256GB SSD，cpu 要core i 系列能支持虚拟机,这样windows7的速度基
本不受影响。这种配置价钱是相当贵的。也可以在mac上面用boot camp启动windows7,
这就是个双启动系统，对mac的要求不像上面一样高，但据说在有些机型里苹果对boot
camp下windows的driver支持做的不太好，似乎是苹果有意为之的。
PC上装OSX叫黑苹果。黑苹果永远不可能做的100%像白苹果那样，但做到个90%甚至99%
还是可能的。所以选择折腾黑苹果的话，要调整好自己的期望值。装黑苹果的话，在台

格可以很轻松地超出$500，这样的话你还不如买一台mac mini更方便一些。$300 ~ $
500的笔记本里面联想的G580（CPU 必须三代 mobile core i-3 以上）是一款比较好
的黑苹果机器，网上有教程。G580共有四个小款式，其中的20157款对黑苹果的支持最
好。

true, but drawbacks are overpricing and no HDMI(compatibility issues)
我这台T400高配是2009年买的，5年不到就要换？太浪费了，舍不得啊。

装了Vware10 + LM 10.8 （Mountain Lion) 太慢，不能用，不知道是不是没装好。。。

其实装Mac OS 主要是想学习xcode, 也许编个app啥的。
这苹果真是一意孤行，自断后路。

准备入手Lenovo Ideapad U310 i7, 350$! 除了网卡以外，其他都没问题。
没用过Thinkpad T系列以外的，希望不让我失望！

价钱很不错。网卡不是大问题。
关于安装黑苹果，个人建议优先使用tonymacx86的软件，你可以在VM下做USB盘。

u310还可以，如果不要保修的话还可以换个wifi adapter就差不多了
有线网有驱动，可是我用一根网线可以用，另外一根就不行了。。

I don't know what exactly you mean, but I can active 3D acceleration for my
Mavericks configuration, and I do notice within "about this mac" the
display RAM changes from 32 to 128, BUT:
when I play youtube, flash player must deactivate hardware acceleration,
otherwise no video, really strange, still searching for reason and trail&
error.

You are right, I just want to give it a try with i3 CPU, It is in a good
direction, which I tend to love it. I can even see the animation of app's
closing and shifting, like it is really on a mac cinema display... But I am
still wait my i7 + 4GB, give it a final trial. There must be something to
say smooth & workable, I would expect.... hihi
