第一个onsite。电面的时候直接给了onsite，高兴之余忘了问面试的程序。后来发信给

把前两天的私人blog分享一下，既然涉及到occupational socialization 的问题。

昨天老大回家说上课做了一个活动，根据心理测试把学生分组，然后让每组的学生列出
将来想从事的职业，说他们组的三个人选的职业是赚钱最多的。我有点好奇，让她把测
试拿给我看。
心理测试有点像乐嘉的色彩性格分析，让学生把五组行为/性格按照对自己描述地贴切
程度1234排序：
1 a. active; variety; sports b. organized, plan, neat c. nice, helpful,
friends d. learning, sience, privacy
2. a. fun, action, contests b. clean, on time, honest c. caring, people,
feelings d. curious, ideas, questions
3. a. playful, quick, adventurous b. helpful, trustworthy, dependable c.
kind, giving, understanding, d. independent, exploring, doing well
4. a. busy, free, winning b. follow rules, useful, save money c. sharing,
animals, getting along d. thinking challenge, problem solving
5. a. exciting, lively, hands-on b. pride, tradition, do things right c.
nature, easygoing, happy ending d. books, math, making sense
其中，a 是橙色，代表的性格特色是 (I like to feel free as a bird; I like fun
and exciting things to do; I enjoy games and contests and go all out to win;
I enjoy doing things with friends, especially when we don’t have to plan
ahead; I enjoy hands-on activities; I am a natural performer and competitor;
I value skill and courage) 老大的得分是11分
b 是金色，代表的性格特色是 (I like to do everything right and have things
organized; I follow the rules and respect authority; I have a strong sense
of right and wrong in life; I need to be useful and feel that I belong; I
believe that work comes before play; I do best in a structured routine.) 老
大的得分是10分
c 是蓝色，代表的性格特色是(I like when everything is nice and easygoing; I
try to get along with everyone; I value integreity and unity in
relationships; I am imaginative, creative, and unique; I value encouragement
over competition; I respond best to people who are warm and friendly) 老大
的得分是8分
d 是绿色，代表的性格特色是 （I seek knowledge and understanding of a variety
of topics; I like to ask questions and need explanations and answers; I
value intelligence, insight, fairness and justice; I am an independent
thinker and a problem solver; a enjoy challenges when I can develop models,
explore ideas and/or build new systems) 老大的得分是 19 分（满分20分）
老大说他们”绿色组”有三个小朋友, 不出我意外,另外两个都是男孩(还都是印度的;
蓝色组都是女孩; 橙色组都是男孩;金色两男一女) . 列出的职业她能想起来是
pharmacist, scientist, software engineer, manager, doctor, 呵呵,让我忍俊不止
.这些职业的确符合绿色的性格特色(但肯定不是赚钱最多的）.
//sigh 老大不到十岁,已然有如此鲜明的性格特色,让人欢喜让人忧的是她性格中
masculine qualities太重, 和她平常不喜欢小女孩的东东,喜欢的大都是男孩子喜欢的
东东,比如pokemon/beyblade, 有很大关系. //sigh, 跟她小时候我刻意避免barbie,
princess的东东,她的两个好朋友又都是男孩子也有很大关系. 不晓得四年级的孩子,还
有多少空间可以改善性格,我希望她能有更多feminine qualitites…
也期待将来看一下老二的性格分布, 目前看和姐姐的性格反差很大,见了barbine,
princess的东东爱不释手,喜欢跳舞,喜欢dramatic play, 属于大众情人类型,不论在哪
里见到什么人都要友好的打招呼,性格相对温和. 共同点是喜欢看书, 喜欢画画,喜欢和
数字有关的东东. 都说第二个孩子是born to rebel, 我倒是觉得第二个孩子容易是老
大的互补, 父母有意无意地,都会从老大的身上吸取一些经验和教训做一些调整.性格固
然是天生的,后天影响也不容忽视阿…

some companies use "blind-date" style. some companies will give you
details.
some tough companies even use a level-passing approach. u may be told the
interview is done during the session if the previous one doesn't go well.

谢谢楼主的回答。hiring manager说需要三个小时面试，包括personality test，没有
提presentation的事，这正常吗？personality test 一般怎么进行？

我个人认为，还就是命，尤其是个性或者说脾性/temperament
3观什么的，确实在很大程度上受到后天的影响，跟每个人都有语言能力，但是母语又
都可以不同一样
