6/11/10 approve notice sent
LD background: postdoc, 12 journal+conference papers, 20 total citations,
couple of media reports, 1 predoctoral fellowhsip (not claim)
Claimed: media reports; contribution; authoship
因为citation 比较少,所以决定自己diy.
file 前，在版上考古了很久，在这里谢谢各位的宝贵的经验以及版上的朋友的热心
建议。不一一谢过了
在这里聊聊一些感想，抛砖引玉，希望能有所帮助。
1。DIY or 律师。
这个是仁者见仁的事。
我想说的是，如果你写过paper, grant，肯定能自己写petition letter. 找个母语是
英语的人改下语法就好了。
如果你请律师，最好 profread yo

Congratulations!!
I have a question about media report. One of my science paper was reported
by more than 10 of websites (I think they adapted from the University news),
they only mentioned my boss's name. Does this count as a media report for
me. I had a good publications(13) and ctations (>180), but i cannot find the
third to claim.
Thank you so much.

我们只在supporting material 里提供了一个publication list然后付了一个total
citation list from google scholar. 没有在 petition letter 里提ciation . 只是
提及了这个research result has been published in Journal A. 并且 the impact
of the result to my field has been extensively reported by major media. (
media reports 不是关于这个paper 的是关于这个实验的。）
我们是这样理解的：别人引用你的paper不是因为你的文章写得多优美，而是你文章的
数据或结果很重要。如果你用其他证据证明你paper基于的实验的重要性就可以了。
而且不同的专业，citation 会差很多。
另外根据前段时间的法庭案例，authorship是不需要提供citation的，只要你的文章是
referred publication 并且在good journ

如果你能证明你确实involve 了，and make major contribution ( for example :
publication，老板的信) 应该是可以了。我们做研究都是team work.
多吹吹website 的影响力。
另外一个小建议，不要claim university news. 这样IO 也许会认为你的online news
是独立的报道has more weight than press realease news.
