Don't recall if it was a job talk or a conference one, but when the
presenter was finished, a hand went up in the audience, and roughly here is
how the Q & A went from there (NOT word-for-word to keep things anonymous):
Presenter (P): "You in the back."
Audience Member (AM): "I am not sure if you cited XY accurately. Could you
clarify, please?"
P: "I cited XY right, did you read the paper?"
AM: "I think I know that study, and I am not sure you cited them correctly,
but please do clarify, as I may be wrong."
P: "I read the study, and I am right. Who are you to question me?"
AM: "I am XY, the person who wrote that article."
