if you never had industry cap H1B in the past, the work authorization based on H1 transfer ends when the cap H1 is approved. So my question is, why use PPS in your case? The best strategy is H1 transfer regular service (can take 3+ months) and do premium in late September. If you work during gap, you can take a vacation anytime and return with H1 visa stamp before filing I-485. In that case, the illegal work will not be a factor in your I-485 case.
