Position Description
To perform the maintenance, configuration, implementation and
troubleshooting of issues related to physical and logical network
connectivity. To manage the bank鈥檚 network and hardware, develop policies
and procedures relating to the network development, implementation, and
maintenance as well as support services for the operation of IT systems and
applications.
Job Duties:
1. Administration and maintenance of the network infrastructure to ensure
the smooth running of IT services in the Bank
2. Liaise with Data Centre in relation to network and information security
3. Contact vendors for circuits, equipment and service installation,
maintenance or troubleshooting.
4. Supervise and control the overall operations and implementation of IT
Systems e.g. the network, Internet, email system etc.
5. Formulate computer disaster recovery plans and arrange for relevant tests
to ensure that the plan is in compliance with the regulator鈥檚
requirements.
6. Backup support for Windows Domain, Servers and PC Workstation maintenance
and troubleshooting.
7. Compile operations and management procedures, conduct regular reviews and
in turn make necessary changes so as to ensure thorough implementation of
the IT policies.
8. Other tasks assigned by Management.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
1.鈥婨xperience with Cisco, Huawei and Juniper鈥檚 firewall, routers and
switches.
2.鈥婸rofessional Certifications in networking is required such as CCNA/CCNP
from Cisco or Huawei certifications
3. Experience in working with VLAN, dox1x PNAC authentication and AAA
authentication
4.鈥婯nowledge of wireless network implementation.
5.鈥婨xperience with the process and procedures in the operations of a
typical data center
