现在刚失业，OPT处于延期状态，延期前没失业过。
想知道，我可以有多少天是失业状态的呢？google了一下，说头12个月的OPT是90天，
延期期间是30天。
那我opt头12月没失业过的，那现在失业了。有效失业期：是只有30天，还是可以把以
前的90天加进来，一共是120天呢？
正打算申请NIW/EB1a，这个失业状态对申请绿卡有影响么？
有类似经验的能给点谢谢吗？非常感谢。好像是个很麻烦的事情

在 OPT extension 期间，失业期不能超过30天。
超过的话，OPT身份失效，但是你还有60天的grace period合法呆在美国

如果grace period找到了工作，同时提交H1B申请，
可以用OPT EAD 卡马上开始工作么？

如果失业超过30天
“your work permission will be terminated and your F-1 status is ended”
意味着你的EAD卡已经时效

如果你提交h1b的时候（April,1）你还在 grace period, 如果批准的话，在April，1
到Oct，1之间你可以用Cap-Gap来工作。
不过你最好问一下你们学校的人

好，有个offer在改title（等三周），以便好申请H1b.
下周另外一个面试会给消息。只能等其中的一个好消息了。
不过都是edu的工作，h1b没有cap。
pp non profit h1b的申请应该一个月能下来吧，希望如此。谢谢。现在这个老板赶人
太急了，没绿卡真是很无奈

谁说的？不要误导，90天可以累加到extension期间的，也就是失业期在extension期间
不要超过120天就行，如果opt第一年的时候没有失业过。

我一直以为可以叠加，不过好像有些地方说不可以，自己也不敢肯定。

不如你给出那些说不可以的link来看看。
你去查USCIS，说的就是“additional 30 days”，什么叫additional？90天如果不能
叠加上去，那么就无所谓啥additional了。后面也明文说了不能accumulate more than
120 days in 29 months，但没有一句说不能accumulate more than 30 days in STEM
17 months。

应该您是对的
我应该过度解读了这段话，
"Whatever remains of the initial 90-day allotment is increased only by an
additional 30 days throughout the 17 months of STEM Extension OPT."
（throughout the 17 months of STEM Extension OPT，让我误解了。）

The cumulative unemployment limit is extended to 120 days once the STEM
Extension is approved. However, this does not replenish any days reported
as unemployed during the regular 12-month OPT authorization. Whatever
remains of the initial 90-day allotment is increased only by an additional
30 days throughout the 17 months of STEM Extension OPT. If you are
unemployed for an aggregate of more than 120 days during your total 29
months of authorized OPT, any remaining work permission will be void.
不过uscis上面是，没有区分，应该是可以叠加：
Students on post-completion OPT may not accrue more than 90 days of
unemployment in the aggregate. Students on STEM OPT are allowed an
additional 30 days of unemployment, so they may not accrue more than 120
days of unemployment in the aggregate.

找个opt挂靠公司很难么？挂靠可以事后补的。纠结个p啊。

我 opt没有失业， opt extension 结束前100多天没了工作，然后失业了100多天，
extension日期快到的时候提交了 485，现在已经绿了。所以LZ不用担心
