although an applicant does not qualify EB1,
is it possible for him to file an EB1 to get an priority date (although
being rejected definitely),
then use this priority date for EB2 later.

the only way to get a valid priority date is to have an approved 140. If
your eb1 application gets denied, then you don't have any priority date
