First of all, I was looking for a Research position at PhD level.
I was first interviewed with a somewhat Lab (not MSR) in MS. My experience was
not very happy. I met both MSR people and Lab people. Honestly they are quite
different. MSR people are good and kind as what I expected (I interned with
MSR twice), but the somewhat Lab is kind of ridiculous. They seem to looking
for a research position, but never did ask you about your research, or a
technical talk (other 4 interviews had 1 hour talk)
