Position Description:
Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and engineering calculations for
design verification and optimization on a variety of drilling and production
equipment for oil and gas industry.
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
.
Minimum 2-3 years FEA experience required.
The candidate must have strong math skills and be capable to perform solid
mechanics/ strength of materials engineering classical calculations.
Experience with static, dynamic, and fatigue analysis is desired.
Familiarity with elastic-plastic and fracture mechanics analysis is desired.
Familiarity with Abaqus analysis software is highly preferred.
Masters or Doctorate in engineering or Math Sciences is a plus.
