I went to the websites of several big law firms and checked the background of
their attornies. Interestingly enough, a lot of those guys graduated from 2nd
class law schools.

Have u checked about the millionare background in China? U'll see many
graduated from Primary School.
Nothing wrong.
School helps,but School never can decide one's fate.

The point that I was trying to make is even though you go to a 2nd class law
school, you still can find a decent job if you are really good. So many people
here can cut that kind of "if u go to 2nd class schools, game is over" crap.

I agree, but for an average ordinary me, good school helps
you have to be really really good to be successfuly if you are from an unkno
wn law school..

being top 5% in your class during 1L v. hitting 170 in LSAT, which is easier?
hehe...
anybody already in law school knows the answer. such is life -- a small
mistake at an earlier time gets amplified and harder to compensate later --
and it turns into a vicious cycle. that's how some climb to the top, some
sink to the bottom.
good luck to all taking the delayed LSAT, and wish you all get a ticket to
enter the marathon, and start within the first wave.

are you saying even if I'm lucky to get in a top law school
a bigger misery is waiting for me?
yes, I think I had a little luck to choose next Feb to be
my updated LSAT day.
I need a perfect score, really

I think everyone agrees that if you get into a top law school you will have a
better future. The point I am trying to make is, even though for some reason
your LSAT score is less than perfect and you get into a 2nd class law school,
don't despair if you really want to practice law.
