Is this true?
Reckless driving in VA is class 1 misdemeanor.
一旦判定reckless driving，一辈子都是有
犯罪记录的。所以还是找个律师咨寻一下，最
好能够把reckless driving的罪名去了

There are many modes of reckless driving in the Code of Virginia. Some carry
heavier penalties than class 1 misdemeanor.There is also a lesser charge, i
.e. improper driving.
Va. Code Ann. § 46.2-869 (2007)
§ 46.2-869. Improper driving; penalty
Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions of this article, upon the trial
of any person charged with reckless driving where the degree of culpability
is slight, the court in its discretion may find the accused not guilty of
reckless driving but guilty
