我收到一封从State Dep. of Revenue的信：
You filed your x Individual Income Tax Return as married, filing a joint
return. However, your spouse's Social Security Number was not listed on the
return. It will be necessary for you to provide this social security number
so that the information on the department's records is accurate.
我有几个疑问：F1F2应该filed Individual Income Tax Return as married, filing
a joint return吗？我妻子现在没有SSN, 该怎么办？谢谢！

(a) I was most surprised by the quotation, as international waters lie 12
nautical miles--not 3--from shore. I thought VOA made a huge mistake. It
does not.
