Mitsubishi Electric Research Labs (MERL) is seeking a highly motivated,
qualified individual to join our internship program and conduct research
in the area of secure wireless communication. The ideal candidate should
be a senior PhD student, with research background in more than one of the
following areas: network security, cryptography, communication/information
theory. Experience in MATLAB or C/C++ programming is required. This is a 3

但可以选三个街道地址, 公司名称.
而且可以有delivery notice.
比USPS的post office 强多了.
大家有什么看法?

新手来本版学习,发现Oracle DBA工资很高.
但是湾区这里oracle公司的员工们好像都不喜欢oracle,收入低,工作累.
不知道这个现象是因为什么?oracle的员工转DBA很难吗?

Oracle大多数是dev
转dba和其他公司dev转dba有区别吗

From what I heard: For federal courts in continental US, you need to be a
citizen or from certain kinds of ally countries (China is not one of them).
GC is good for state courts. But you probably don't want to do clerkship in
state courts.

当然强多了
公司名称可以用好几个，很自由，至少地址一眼看上去，虽然有PMB
但是不是PO BOX那么刺眼
收什么UPS FedEx都毫无问题
那些搞deal的，都是租了一大堆这种UPS听说

估计比我工资高。。。我说怎么能做oracle developer呢，所有都要求有经验的。难道
没用过oracle就一定不能投用oracle的工作？

我们这里USPS最小的PO box19块钱6个月,好处是24/7 access. 不好处就是po box啦,很
多时候不能用

residency. I summered for a fedearl judge during the 1L summer using CPT.
No hassel at all.

第二行也可以是 STE 123#888
各个地方估计有些小差别
有些UPS store如果独立一个号码
那么第二行应该就是#123
这样看上去就更像普通地址了
关键是这个地址能收UPS FedEx等，POBOX不行的

federal court: no pay with PRC citizenship
state court: usually ok, depends on state law.

For internship/externship, you don't need CPT, since you generally will not
be paid as a judicial intern/extern.
Also remember you should be able to get credits toward your J.D. degree by
doing judicial internship/externship.
For clerkship, it depends.

No practical difference.
They are all about receiving practical training while doing law-related work
at a court.
Intern is the more accurate term to use.

联邦法庭至少需要绿卡，因为法院帮你申h1-b被拒，你去告的话就告回联邦法庭了，算
是利益冲突吧。州法庭我不知道。

summer的只是extern，也就是让法学院的学生去开开眼，顺带起草点儿不太重要的判决，当然对于学生自己来说还是可以学到很多东西的，只不过跟全职上班的clerk还是差的远了。（我说的是联邦法庭）
