Penn vs. Georgetown...please suggest? It seems that Georgetown has a better location, in DC... How much does that matter when looking for a job in US law firms?
depends on luck Btw, I heard UPenn allows LLM students to transfer to JD quite easily. Need confirmation though.

really depends on your ear, if you can satisfied with the sounds from HTIB, why not, just enjoy the music, hehe

hmm...it seems so... btw, thanks for the honesty, and I am fine with it since it's not my situation - already working in US, hehe...
what do you mean by starting SOLO? Start your own practice? But as a fresh graduate in US, where to find clients?
【在 b****z 的大作中提到】 : WIth LLM, the best way to success is to start SOLO. : JD is too long.

as people have mentioned above, if your goal is to find a position at big law firms, then better go with JD unless you already have strong prior working experience in either China or US. Not that a JD would guarantee you a market paying job, but your chances will be much higher with a JD than an LLM.

you probably should look around your peers at such firms and see how they have done in the past with LLMs.
