准备485的时候遇到了一个问题：
HR说根据公司规定，不会开出任何含有job description的信，如果要包含job
description的话需要我的老板来签字，但是不能用letter head。
HR只给开一份简单的verification of employment,只有工作开始时间，title,
location，年薪，但是不提供brief job description
请问大家这样的employment letter能过吗？
还是需要让老板签一份和HR的employment letter一起交上去？
我特别担心会被被RFE...
请各位大神出出主意~

有将近十年的时间没有在这个版上发文章了，想不到今天又回来了。
这几年的心理状况其实都不算好，但因为忙因为有孩子要照顾，都在勉强支撑着做一个
别人眼中的牛妈回避着自我的心理问题，一直到最近这几周，觉得快要窒息了，才约了
咨询师。
今天跟咨询师第一次见面谈了一个小时，感觉整个人精神状态稳定了一些，然后约了后
面的十次。回来后大概整理了一下自己的思绪，打算开始正视自己的心理问题，该治疗
治疗，该排解排解，重回老地方记录自己的心路历程吧，也给其他的朋友分享一下咨询
的经历。
忐忑的在大厅里等咨询师的出现，过了五分钟就有点坐不住了，到8分钟的时候差点起
身想走了，结果咨询师出现了。一开始我自然有戒备有情绪，只是简单的说了目前的困
扰。咨询师很有经验的让我放弃了戒备，就事论事地问了几个问题，然后我开始说我的
失望，我的婚姻，我的孩子，然后泣不成声……
而这并还没有说到三年前的事……
全程她在记录着什么，适当地问我一些问题，有一些问题我回了不知道，有一些问题让
我想到很久都不曾提起的往事……
最后的十分钟，咨询师很慎重地问我是否考虑吃抗抑郁的药，因为很明显我已经开始有
生理上的症状，虽然药物没有办法解决我心理上的迷失，但至少可以减轻生理上的折磨
。。。。
（以下自我剖析）
也许，十年前的那次抑郁只是暂时的妥协，其实它一直都没有离开过我，我只是很努力
的不要让自己再掉到黑洞里去，但是其实黑洞一直在那里，一点一点的悄无声息的吞噬
着我的内心……
指责他人的失误或不负责任，只是临时转移了注意力，真实的情况是自己的内心已经被
黑洞大部分吞噬，被绝望与创痛所窒息，自我已经迷失，判断已经失常，这种无助的感
觉让我无法承受，所以时不时的厌世，反复地逃避，经常性的封闭……
与其说我是在等待现实生活中压倒骆驼的那最后一根致命稻草，不如说我其实是在心理
世界里茫无目的寻找任何可能的最后一个救命稻草，我的心已经垂危，却迟迟没有求救
，甚至不知该如何去呼救……
或者说我觉得我向某人呼救了，但是却没有得到应有的响应，你的内心绝望，被视为矫
情，无事生非，毕竟心灵的911，不是每个人都能体会得到。这种心理上的呼救失败，
让我产生也许只有我死了这一切才会被重视才会得到响应的幻觉，甚至，也许即使我死
了，也未必能得到我想要的回应……
终于意识到每天在愤怒与宽恕中无休止的徘徊只不过是一种自苦，对于已经受到的伤害
，别人承认与否，认同与否，弥补与否，都不是最重要的，最最重要的是自己能否冲破
伤害的牢笼，登临智慧的顶峰，俯瞰曾经的苍茫云海，把那一路行来的伤害，当成生命
旅程中的尘土。而后要做什么样的决定----原谅也罢遗忘也罢，自然水到渠成。
所以，现在的最紧要的问题，不是他人，不是婚姻，恰恰是自己的内心，自己的精神。
找回自己最重要，认知自己想要什么最重要！

I have some experience with a American Lawyer. His working style and
communication way just drive me crazy.
He is a son of two laywer and works in his parents law firm. I thought he
was supposed to be very good.
In the beginning, I sent email to him or call him and get no response. Then
he used some excuses like his wife get sicks so he needs to take care of his
twins. Firstly I believe what he said. Then I realized this is just his
working style. Sometimes he email me to call in. But once I call in, his
secretary told me he is in a meeting and told me he will call me back. But
he never called me back. So I ended up with calling him again. My case is
flat fee agreement. I guess that is why he never need to worry about not
picking up my call since he was not paid by the time. Eventually I have to
call him firstly, if my call does not get through then send him email then I
can get his reply finally in the email.
That was my very first time to hire a lawyer. Is all the lawyer working like
this? Anyone had similar experience?
My case is not over yet. Should I continue to hire him? The good thing is I don't need to pay him since the issue has not been resolved. The bad thing is I felt I may not stand it any more. I prefer to do myself and only ask him for his legal advice. However every time I sent him an email for advice, he alway email back with one short sentence which indicate me to call him or meet him, something like " I am looking forward to speaking to you soon" No direct answer to any question I put in email.
I am not sure if this is the style of American Lawyer. Does anyone have any experience to share with me? Thanks a lot!

不能。我的I140 given in to HR 结果被RFE 最后还是出了有job description 的EVL
。 我的RFE上面写的清楚：请提出具有详细job description 的证明。
这事情你和老板说了 叫他去notify HR. 公司里应该会有immigration specialist HR
在和老板confirm job description 的准确性之后签字。这是政府对于你伸绿卡的要求
，不是你要搞事，他们不写是non-compliant. 也是一种“谁主张 谁举证” they are
the case owner, you are only beneficiary, they have burden of proof.

有三大办法，都不用吃药，但需要每天花至少一、二个小时。。。

ask the agent to give you a revervation number before you pay.
you can use the reversation number to check online for authentication.
compare several agents before you make the purchase. make sure the agent you
buy from is reliable.
