Analytics Program Manager
This is an individual contributor role responsible for customer driven data
science and analytics – capturing the necessary data, analysis, hypothesis
development and modeling to help us improve customer sale conversion and
customer retention. This role is responsible for everything from data prep
to data mining and statistical analysis to business presentation. They are
pivotal to our projects from start to finish, developing the entire path
from business problem statement to data-driven solution recommendation. This
person needs to be good at both asking the right questions and finding
creative, technically rigorous answers.
The goal of this role: empowering Citrix, through behavioral insight, to
drive significant improvements to customer retention and the customer
experience.
Areas of Focus:
• Distill global insights into business recommendations by
identifying meaningful customer indicators and trends.
• Develop and communicate a holistic view of our customer behaviors
and attributes to the whole organization.
• Transforming large datasets to serve as a source of strategic
insight into customer behavior and the development of predictive models.
What you will do:
• Be a prospect behavior expert, developing a detailed knowledge of
what drives customer retention within customer segments and regions and how
these are affected by business models and changes.
• Measure the success of a variety of pilots, projects, and
programs against established targets
• Manage test & program performance, rolling up data to high-level
summaries to share with leadership.
• Proactively identify critical customer behavior data and gaps in
existing data structures to aid in development of analytical and predictive
models.
• Identify segments of users based off product interaction data
logged in various systems to assist Customer Marketing Programs Teams in
executing influence testing & targeting of segments to yield improved KPIs.
What you will bring:
• 0-7 years of experience in an analytical role (such as customer
experience, business, market, competitive or financial) and a track record
of successful application of diverse analytical approaches (including but
not limited to regression modeling, time series analysis, and decision trees
).
• Possess an intense curiosity—a desire to deeply explore a
problem, find the questions at its heart, and distill them into a very clear
set of hypotheses that can be tested.
• Able to find a story in a data set and provide a coherent
narrative about a key data insight, including how this impacts both
customers and the business as a whole.
• Likes to solve complex data challenges.
• Comfortable swimming in the data (both ambiguous and unstructured
data sets).
• Able to manage multiple detailed projects and program elements in
a fast-paced challenging environment.
• Strong familiarity with databases, including Splunk, advanced SQL
, and report development
• Expertise with at least one statistical analysis tool such as R
or SPSS.
• Experience with Predictive Analytics and Data manipulation
preferred.
• Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Sociology,
Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Econometrics preferred.
• College coursework in Statistics, Databases, and Introductory
Computer Science
