不知道什么时候开始，就用单身狗来统称那些由各种理由找不到另一半的男男女女了，
不过这个称呼确实是挺切合实际的，平时在路上，在店里，在公园看到牵手，拥抱，亲

不过他比较傻的是默认装的显卡驱动比较查，
要手动在装个好的

其实主要是 apps 没准备好
干脆每次新 apps 出来，就出个 update
觉得出够了 update 就出一个新版
硬规定半年一个 release 纯属商业公关需要，对质量没好处

不过那样就回到了 debian 的模式
debian 的问题是太多太杂更新太慢
比较理想的是按 Ubuntu 的软件库尽快出更新，出 bugfix
不要光强调半年一个升级版

最新的版本不一定比稍微旧的版本好。例如，Ubuntu9.04加上bug fix就会比无bug fix

我的NVIDIA的卡的驱动，他装的是开源社区的那个
我以前装的是nv自己的，
可能因为版权？可是我9.04已经装了啊
反正就又重新装了一下

Arch有类似ports的方式从源码编译，改设置也比较方便。叫ABS。
AUR里的软件基本都是编译的，除了非开源的如Skype，Opera，Chrome等，但也很方便
，一个命令就可以。

我已经在Synaptic Package Manager中找不到xorg-x11-drv-intel包。

I don't have any experience with ubuntu, but i figured it should be similar
to fedora.
You can use some commandline like apt-get to list *xorg* to find out which
one has intel, or i810 (for fedora9)...

I don't have any experience with ubuntu, but i figured it should be similar
to fedora.
You can use some commandline like apt-get to list *xorg* to find out which
one has intel, or i810 (for fedora9)...
或者类似的包现在应该在哪里查找？

as long as you have run apt-get update recently
this is the latest version in Ubuntu.
Intel driver is usually easy and stable...
