现在有点受不了苹果装B的界面了。特别是没有pagedown，很不习惯。
我的handbrake转的video, 想设置成自动用vlc来play, 都不行，每次都是stupid
iTune来，而且还主动把video拷贝到iTune里面，double the space consumption.
今晚恶向胆边生，要杀Mac上ubuntu了。
can anyone share some experience ?

受不了。难道你不能设置default to vlc? BTW vlc sucks. try mplayer

难不成你装了ubuntu就有page down键了？

建议：就把它当二奶机得了。可能的话，台式机+linux,还是挺爽的。

还是磨合一段时间吧。要是配合默契了还是爽歪歪的。

dual boot with ubuntu 10.04 on macbook pro 5.4:
1. use bootcamp to shrink the existing partition.
2. install rEFIt
3. boot with the ubuntu CD from rEFIt, and install to the partition to the
3rd partition or which ever is created by bootcamp.
The only thing you need to pay attention is that during ubuntu installation,
make sure grub is installed on sda3 instead of sda.

mac上用debian,键盘meta,super的位置和外接usb键盘相反，感觉很不好。
另外，a tip, paste是fn+shift+return

你可以用xmodmap改呀。

哪个高手可以把mbp keyboard的firmware hack了，把那俩个键的scan code换一下？

倒是可以每次插上键盘时执行一次xmodmap，用udev rule？还要检查x是不是运行。
console下又不对了。反正没有完美的解决方法。
以前用mac os x挺开心的，best of both worlds。后来觉得linux还是有很多优势，比
如包管理，还有窗口管理器，很顺手。

VLC is very good.
It is easy to say "X sucks", it is harder to say why...

thanks, looks like i am having a problem with bootcamp. can't re-size the
partitions.
is there a way to map certain key combination to page up/down in linux ?
