Hehe I never liked Ms. Yang. Nothing regarding her personal life. Just the
way she wrote made me nuts. Her novel and essays reflected she had formidable
knowledge, fantastic memory and condescending attitude. She had an article on
her aunt, and listed all grudges in the household, as tiny as needle & thread.
A humorous and understanding author (as she was widely acclaimed) would see
all these family affairs were unavoidable and rather normal. Yet her
narrative gave a strong impression that
