我们现在租房，3月底到期，之后是month by month。有几个问题想问大家：
1。一般close以后要花很长时间才能move-in吗？在move in之前是不是最好刷刷墙，买
买家具什么的？
2。close之前我知道什么时候能close吗？我需要提前一个月通知房东，那我应该close
以后告诉房东还是大概close以前估计一个move的日期，立即通知房东？

You can choose to close in 30 days or 45 days. However, close in 30 days or
less appears more attactive to sellers. After closing you will need as
little as one week to as long as couple months to be ready to move in,
depends on the condition of the house you buy.

When do I make the choice? 如果我在1月1日选择close in 45 days，我是在2月15日
那天close，还是在2月15日以前的任何一天close呢？什么因素决定哪天close呢？

When you make an offer, you will need to state when are you able to close.
Please keep in mind, if you choose 45 days, you will likely lose the house,
especially there are others interested in the same house.
30 days close of escrow means 30 days. During this time, you will need to do
home/roof/ termite inspections, remove contigencies, get loan approved,
lock rate, and deal with the title company. So you will be pretty busy in
these 30 days.
