请教大家公民为父母申请绿卡的问题# Living

马上就有绿卡5年了，最近在计划入籍后就为爸妈申请绿卡。这样父母过来看我们也方
便一些（不用老人跑老远的去其他省签证，还要担心能不能签到），年纪大了子女在身
边也能对他们有个照顾。现在的问题是不知道是该让他们来这边探亲以后为他们申请
绿卡快，还是直接让他们在国内的时候申请绿卡快？出来也好些年了，一直没在父母
身边尽过孝心。真的不想有子欲养而亲不在的遗憾啊。。。所有想尽快的行动起来，
早点和他们享受团聚的时光。。。
希望有类似经验的指点一二。。。

那请问一般会快多久呢？

your parents can wait in US when the case is processed. If need to go back,
apply for Advance parole. If apply in China, you cannot do anything until
it is approved as your parants cannot get a nonimmigration visa.
Regarding processing, I think it is the same time, does not matter where
your parents physically are, depends how long it takes for name check and
other regular checks.
