I am planning to build a deck using floating foundation. The city offical
told me there will be two or three inspections pier+ final or pier + framing
+ final. I think the pier inspection does not make sense because they just
need to be laid on soil.Also, piers can not be properly laid until frames
are added.
I think the so called "plan examiner" has no idea or experience in build
such structures.
Do you have any suggestions?
